KNOWLEDGE TEAMS

Our team is always seeking partnerships and connections around the world to engage First Nations, Indigenous communities, knowledge keepers, research community, health professionals and policy/decision makers. We also support and highlight Indigenous’s current health providing practices influenced by culture and traditions that have always positively contributed to our wellbeing.

The Governing Committee provides assistance and guidance in many matters such: KTEA procedures and progress on the engagement of First Nations communities and researchers; PEKE image, marketing and public relations; development and implementation of PEKE plans, deliverables and activities.

PEKE Full Committee is a notable network, which consists of Governing Committee, health providers (focused organizations), decision-makers, national knowledge teams and exchange partners, international partners, community orientated partners.

They are made up of representatives of their respective organizations, who are also themselves contributing agents of innovation and change at the community level. They play a vital role in delivering and sharing information, best practices and lessons learned within their networks and partnerships.
